What's going on at the Liberty?

Roger La Borde, the publishing and design company has taken over a corner or the wonderful Liberty for a month and they've made quite an impression on us. Their pop-up shop offers a brand new range of their homewares along with their stationery which is super nice. However, what caught our Lazy Oaf-eyes the most was the original artwork pieces they have on display to accompany the take-over. It's a small display but a perfectly formed one, and we were lucky enough to get some snaps so we thought we'd share them with you! Su Blackwell's wintry papercut scene got us well and truly in the Christmas spirit (yes, we know it's not even Halloween yet!) Nelly Dimitranova creates tiny drawings on paint swatches, and even sneakily sketched some of the visitors to the exhibition. Rob Ryan's beautiful papercut pieces are always a huge hit here at the Lazy Oaf shop, so we're pleased as punch to be able to see some of his work on a daily basis. Aya Kakeda's quirky embroideries stole our hearts with their cute hand stitched faces. So come on down to Carnaby Street and have a wander around the mini exhibition before it closes, and while you're in the area pop in to our shop on Foubert's Place and say hello. xx
